On your appointment day, the Toothbus will head to your specified location and send you a message inviting you inside the Toothbus, once your appointment is about to start. If you have dental insurance, please let us know ahead of time or you may bring it with you. If you are a new patient with Toothbus, the dental hygienist will collect some information about you first, then do an extraoral and intraoral exam and then start with the teeth cleaning process. How Long should a Dental Cleaning Session Take?
Typical teeth cleaning sessions take from 1hr 30 mins to 2 hrs. The time varies based on individually assessed needs. With the Tootbus, if you are a first-time patient, the total visit duration will be around 1 hr 30 min and if you are a returning patient, the visit should take around 1 hr. As for children, their teeth cleaning visit should take around 30 min.
